Drawing: Merida WIP pt.1

Another drawing I’m trying to complete. This one I’m trying to get done fast for my youngest cousin. She wanted a pic of Merida from Disney/Pixar’s Brave. I did it in pencil first, then inked it. It’s 0223 right now so I’m going to sleep and start coloring it with my copics tomorrow ^_^ . I haven’t drawn anything with my markers in a loooooong time. Hope it turns out well.

Animation: 11 Second Club 3/2012 WIP pt.1

I joined the 11 Second Club. Fun stuff. I did an entry for 2/2012, but unfortunately didn’t finish on time TT__TT . This is my WIP so far for 3/2012.

There’s still a lot to do. I have a few more lines to animate and I need to do facial movements, emotions, and lip synching. But hopefully I’ll finish by the end of this month ^_^

Here’s a rendered pic to give an idea of how it will look fully rendered.

I think I need to lighten it up a little because the face is hard to see.

Welp, it’s been a looong while, but here’s what’s been happening.
Finished most of the environments and worked on the characters.
Corrupted my main character so now I had to borrow a rig from online due to time contraints.

Finished the school hall. I had more stuff I wanted to put into it, but I have another environment, a couple of characters to make, a ton of animating to do, and music/sound to do. So…c’est la vie. Maybe I’ll have more time at the end to add more details ^_^

Commission Work: Severflame Pt. 2

Here’s some more progression shots. I have more done, but these are the screens that I have thus far ^_^. I think my style has changed. At first I liked the girl on the right and then I liked the girl on the left….now I think I’m back to liking the girl on the right again lol.

After I finish all the effects and background. I’ll be done and I don’t think I’ll be taking on anymore commissions T_T. I have too much work to do on my final senior project.

Not much going on irl right now. Just work and work….and work. Went out and met some peoples. Was reminded of meeting a string of strange guys throughout my life….made myself sad. Haha. New nazi boss….nothing much else really ^_^

Commission Work: Severflame Pt. 1

Just some progression shots of the drawing I’m working on at the moment.
Seriously considering stopping commissions for a while due to the animation project I want to complete for my final, final, final school project.

I hate doing the lines the most. It’s so tedious to look after the precision and the clean up >_< . I hate it oh, so very much! But at least the lines here turned out relatively good. I like the poses. My favorite part has got to be the shading/coloring.

I’m hoping to get this done soon ^_^ .

On what’s going on in my life…just been contemplating on moving out. I want to, but the money is always a question. But I need to get out of my moldy environment and I need to get away from the family…..so overall it should be a good thing. Got a full time job with benefits. That’s good (^_^)/ I like benefits. On another note, did you know that on average, Europeans get about 34-35 days of vacation a year? Americans only get about 14. I VANT MORE DAYS OFF. Lol.

School’s good. I have good ideas for my senior project. The problem is the time…and money…and level of skill…….well, if I believe I can do it, I will do it! Woot!

I stuck a new picture in the two windows at the top of this blog.
It’s a picture I took at the beach of the sunrise. Or at least, the sand part.

Commission Work: TrainerKelly Pt2

Did the sky, some fireworks, some magic swirls, flats, and shading.
Still need to finalize the magical swirls and add a little more mess to give it some fluid motion. Need more fireworks and mess. Need to fix the trees and add grass and render clouds. Oh, and need to add moonlight and firework light to everything.

It’s very small here, but in reality, the file is HUUUGE. I hope the client likes it in the end ^__^
